Many people get offended by the images from the movie The Passion Of The Christ. Why is that? Because we have to take a good hard look at ourselves and figure out that it was because of OUR sins that this excruciating sacrifice was made on our behalf. It causes us to see the ugly inside ourselves but the wonderful thing about this? HE took that ugly upon Himself in exchange for the awesome beauty that HE is. HE felt the pain of rejection from the Father as He took His eyes off of the Christ and placed them on us. WHY? Because our sins were transferred to HIM and HIS Holiness, Purity, and Light was transferred to us...Because of Love. I listened to this song for the first time in years and felt compelled to not only look it up, but to share what my heart felt as I listened to the words. To sum it up....Thank You YeShua.
