St Anger is a great album, get over the snare ring, lars can do what he wants, he has earned it. There are no solos, because there are only so many combos of notes, and Kirk has literally played them all out. If you listen, a lot of his solos were becoming recognizable as parts of other ones he has already done. I LOVE ST ANGER. It was a return to rhythm as the main part of Metallica, and there are some awesome riffs. The first 5 songs, Frantic, St. Anger, Some Kind of Monster, Dirty Window, Invisible Kid are freaking great.

I can't fucking stop listening to st. anger, it's fucking AWSOME. This is good too, but what is your problem with that album?

Facepalm! Two completely different albums. This isn't meant to be taken too seriously. And it's really not "original music" - they are just combining parts from Metallica and Beatles songs (though I think the idea is pretty original). Also, I didn't find Death Magnetic that special. It has some good stuff on it but as an album it just doesn't work. It kind of sounds a bit repetitive and boring to me (as an album - some individual songs are pretty decent though). Just my opinion.
