It's funny how this video has a bunch of pictures of the Protestant Revolutioners (it wasn't a reformation) yet the song was written by a Catholic saint.... St. Patrick would be in the same boat with St. Nicholas playing wack-the-heretic. Pax.

Feed thou my sheep and disparage not the poor made so by the machinations of those whose camels do not negotiate the needle.

It is ironic, nay amusing to the enth degree, to see the names of protestants trotted out to this fine old Irish Catholic hymn. Saint Patrick would never have tolerated for a second such men as John Calvin. They were dividers and sowers of weeds in the wheatfield.

Love the church history hall of fame in this video. So inspiring and encouraging to see how God used these jars of clay to preach to good news to so many thousands of people through the ages, praise the Lord

Could do without pictures of the John Calvin who was O.K. with corporal punishment for differing beliefs.

If you want a more authentic eighth century version check out Kemper Crabb but i love this as it builds in power and the images of great Church hero's is unbeatable!

The music is DEFINITELY not 8th centuryIt's very melodic and I'm guessing way later, this is a very modern adaption
