@bigjim..digital mixing has nice features. A great anolog console sounds better than a digital console any day. they are improving and people are using them mainly because they elimante so much outboard gear on the road. it's also nice to see exactly what you are doing on a screen instead relying completely on your ears and struggling to see small numbers around knobs on a huge desk.

This is such a damn good song from B.E. and the band. I still have the album and never get tired of hearing it. Anybody that never heard their stuff is missing out of some of the best 80's rock! Wish they would get back together and do some of this stuff. I used to go see them in the 80's and have some great memories.

..I guess this is an old analog original-recording..which was amazing..but it doesnt translate into digital saddly, uploaded onto here...u can hear what an incredible singer B.E. is...and super-tite band, but the bass isn't pumpin thru..I saw him live back in the mid-80's n they were flat-out SUPER live..woah!!!! I think he'd the best to come outta P-burgh, n Donnie Iris n the Clarks, for sure..it's just sad, like was mentioned, that they never got true big-label push, cuz they had it all ??!!!

I loved this song. People have less of a career with three signature songs such as Just A Beat Away, Vitamin L and Karen.

Really miss this group, never understood why this album did not climb the charts. They put on a great live show as well
