B.B. King was the first concert I ever saw.Omaha,NE.I was 14, It was 1997 and it changed everything that I thought was good in the world. Really... I didn't know what I liked about life until I heard B wail the blues right in front of me.I still carry the laminated ticket stub in my wallet.I never met the guy, but I genuinely feel like I lost a friend.

my fondest music memory evar is back about this same time 1985. me and a buddy were volunteer stage security dudes for a 700-seat BB show. afterwards we got to hang out and drink Heinekens with him and his band for an hour that seemed like forever. a total gentleman. ginormous soft hands.

B.B. always amazed me, but now, every time I hear his songs it makes me sad for all we lost. I know he was an old man (89 years) but deeply loved and will be missed every day.
