I was away from home and lonely and a friend was a married man so this song struck a chord. Nothing happened (although I hate to say it, more him than me) as it does not here. Some songs are so much a sound-track for your youth that it is hard to judge them on their merits. I loved this song and still do as it takes me back to the railway station in Northampton going home to mum and dad (now dead of course).
