My heart is a black stone

a streaking mirror of unseen creatures

He had a milkness from the universe

18 thousand feet a black stone heart

my heart is a black stone

a moon glab night

come with this darkness

I come with this darkness

and go away white

go away white

silver wind and carcass, carcass and blue

velocity endless ohhhhhhhh

silver wind and carcass, carcass and blue

invisible toooooooo

ohoh ohohohoh ohoh ohohohohohohoh hey

silver wind and carcass, carcass and blue

velocity endless ohhhhhhhh

silver wind and carcass, carcass and blue

invisible toooooooo

when my black is back and sea out of sight

i go there with my darkness

and go away white

and my black is back

and my sea out of sight

i go there with my darkness

and go away white

go away white

go away white

go away white.

She Wants Revenge is like margarine to butter. Newer but worse for you than they you could ever imagine.

She Wants Revenge made a shit disco album. Bauhaus always stuck to there moody and dark style. She Wants Revenge disappeared, didn't they? Haven't heard anything good since that song "I want to tear you apart." I bet if they knew two people wrote about them, they would be very pleased.

If rumours are to be believed then it was a woman that was the cause of the falling out (again) between Peter Murphy and Daniel Ash. I thought it was all going a bit too well, with Murphy presenting Ash with one of Jimi Hendrix's effects units. Personally feel the album more than lived up to expectations despite being a little demo like in places but then it was recorded in 10 days with minimal overdubs. Was it reasonable to expect as classic a Bauhaus track as "The dog's a vapour"?

@danskTRIGGER They've always had Bowie in their DNA, but this is explicit Scary Monsters era worship. Not a bad thing, mind you.

I saw Peter Murphy last year and he did this song in his setlist. Unfortunately, Bauhaus is one of those bands that set a standard that affected a lot of other greats (helping them become what they are) but they never achieved the success they deserve. Great song. I can keep this on rotation for months.
