Arkham City was my first game of the Arkham series, I just recently bought Asylum and Origins. I have not yet touched Origins and am currently in my first playthrough of Asylum, but I must say that while I like Asylum it does not give me the same feeling that City did. Arkham City had a very dark and depressing feel to me, almost horroresque. Political prisoners being bullied and possibly threatened with murder, running around the entire city trying to make it to Zazz's ringing Telephone booth before he hangs up and kills another hostage. Everything within Gotham City felt as if the world itself had fallen apart and I was the only force keeping it in place. The ending scene with the joker still makes my spine tingle to this day.

Sorry dufase. But start paying attention. It is these details that arkham city and asylum is superior to origins. The story the music the dark feeling.Origins at the second half of the story is just a mess. And it is too much focused on cheesy action compared to the intriguing action of asylum/city.

I like how this makes you feel. It really drives home being the Batman when you clear a room. Even after it's finished playing, the song still sticks in my head while I continue playing.
