Does someone have the original CD from 1991?I have it and in the booklet the lyrics say "Heil" not "Hail" ...For all those who doubt the song is about SS soldiers....

A new song from Arch Enemy reaches 4.000.000+ views after a month on Youtube. Pieces of masterpiece (musically and lyrically) of Bathory after 4 years on Youtube don't exceed 50.000 views. Im trully disappointed by the metal community....

Every guitar lead he plays seems to have a magic element to it, just so bright and intense with feeling

I'm currently on my second read through ''Lords of Chaos'', and I've just passed the bit wherein Quorthon, and he speaks of this song. He says himself that it isn't about Nazism at all. It was done to cause a bit of havoc, but with no serious intentions.

I have never heard greatest nonsence about Quorthon. He wasnt interested about Nazism or such things. His lyrics were about Norse mythology and mysticism. You should listen to another great song which is included in "Blood on Ice". The Lake. Anyone who is intot the Norse mythology knows about the tale where Odin gave his eye to gain the wisdom and threw it into the lake of Imrir. This is pure norse mysticism and nothing more.
