My conclusion was, after listening to this, that Quorthon shouldn't have listened to the fans in demand for harsher music from him.You can't blame him for his natural evolution though I understand his concern about support from his followers13 years ago

@Heavymetalvideogamer I got "Requiem" and "Twilight of the Thunder Gods" at the same time never having heard Bathory. Those albums are so different but both kick ass. It was around 1995 and I was in High School also13 years ago
