Call me a white knight, but what is with everyone bitching about "Too bad they play for a Car Company" these days, like it's the end of all underground music??? The bands still play good music.

although, the fest IS run by a car company, i would have to INSIST, that they've been very supportive of the extreme metal scene and has put on FREE shows that has ALL THE BANDS payed and went as far as to fund one of mardugrinds releases. yes, i understand we are all anti corporation but we got to find a middle ground. looks omeone at scion has good taste in music and is willing to put their money in an area that needs some..."helpful funds"

"we do have tracks that are more environmentally conscious" yet we play a show put on by an auto manufacturer. sorry guys, one of my favorite bands ever, but this is horse shit.

I think Eric went in with a weariness because he is very anti corporate and this is a fest run by a car company. He is one of the few people the practices what he preaches.

@Heartattackandvine1 eric is all about getting a good sound for a live show. He said the people weren't able to give him what he wanted.

@Yaksniffer I don't understand why, I noticed that they had sound problems but that didn't effect their show that much they're already really noisy anyway.

when they started touring 2 summers back I was ecstatic! They released The Red List, A Culture of Monsters. It was the next best thing to a Man is the Bastard reunion!! then nelson leaves and she come along.... !!!

The oscillators mimicking the songs of the divine is such next level stuff, especially on top of such a brutal two piece. The jazz swing is so rhythmically interesting yet still some how they keep it primitive. I'm sure Connell is not a human!!

Saw them at Maryland Deathfest this year. One of the most challenging live acts I've ever seen.
