I shifted the E string to D to have this more pronounced string flapping effect on the frets. I have recorded on double-channel into sound card, one of channels live from the balanced output of my bass head Gallien-Krueger Fusion 550, and the other one through an AKG D112 microphone on the 10" GK speaker of NEO cabinet. Also, I used my Status Graphite S2 5 strings 35" Neck-Thru, and the following effect pedals: BOSS RC-3 loop station, OKKA Cocacomp, MXR Bass Envelope Filter, TC Electronic SCF. Enjoy!
