Yeah I'd love a fender jazz just not a fan on evilbay but suppose I could shop elsewhere. I was also thinking of squire but despite being quite good I think I'd rather a used fender. Thanks :) and thanks for all your great videos :)

Difficult question to answer, as there are so many great deals out there at the moment. For example, my friend just picked up a Fender Jazz Bass for £300. For that price you can get a really good quality Bass second hand, which is probably a better bet than buying a brand new one, with less quality. Fender Jazz are lovely...

It would be helpful if you would play what you're going to teach us first.

Listen to some Bauhaus, that's the only rock-"ish" band that I can think of at this hour, to see that in a lot of their songs the bass is a leading instrument with it's own independent lines and riffs.

Hey Dman, have been watching your very insightful videos for quite some time now and as a guitarist it has helped me to start leaning bass. I have some cheap bass i got just to mess with but was wondering what sort of jazz bass youd recommend for around £300? I know I cant get anything special but what do you suggest? Thanks Matt :)
