Barry Mann (born Barry Imberman, 9 February 1939, Brooklyn, New York) is an American songwriter, and part of a successful songwriting partnership with his wife, Cynthia Weil. In 1961, Mann hit the Top 40 as a performer with a novelty song co-written with Jerry Goffin, "Who Put The Bomp", which parodied the nonsense words of the popular doo-wop genre.
