State of Control is a 1989 heavy metal album released by the Christian metal band Barren Cross. The album was produced by John Elefante of Kansas fame and his brother Dino. The song Imaginary music was copyrighted in 1988 in the U.S Copyright Office. It appeared on Atomic Arena, was performed by Barren Cross and the song was authored by guitarist Ray Parris, singer Mike Lee and producer Dino Elefante.

Fantastic job men as usual. I used to listen to you in the 80's and am now back to searching all your stuff out. Great job as usual. I don't know where all sit today but wanted to say to you all - "Wow"! what a fantastic band. And with Bruce Dickenson like vocal's, Wow the perfect alternative to Maiden. I love both but you guys! I grew up on Iron Maiden so I would actually listen to Maiden because I actually got a book collection because of this - Tourniquet had me looking for the works of Poe even more when I was in college as Poe and Lovecraft are my two strongest influences as an author -- I discovered H.P. Lovecraft because of Metallica and I was born on Hetfield's 13th birthday. I can see where people like Barren Cross, but I think Christian heavy metal in the 1980s were to limited with their subject matter -- Bloodgood was the only band to take on suicide and the only other band to do that was Metallica with Fade to Black.10 years ago

It may be empty to you, but even the "great thinkers" were intrigued by the claim that something is inspired by a god. And it is absolutely absurd to release a piece of information based on that claim just because of your beliefs. "Your assertion that all Christians ignore science is ludicrous." Never said this once.
