as much as i love blue record, Y&G is a much stronger record, its a masterpiece. Do me a favour, listen to it again, its a fantastic piece of art.

The Red Album and The Blue Record are far better than Yellow & Green. Theres a few good songs on Y & G, the most of them are okay but, sadly, the are some pretty bad songs. The problem, for me at least, is that the songs are so predictable and a bit slow. When I listen to Y & G i find it hard to believe that it is the same songwriter and band who's made fantastic songs like Rays on Pinion, Isak, Swollen and Halo, Jake Leg, The Sweetest Curse, Etc, Etc.

Actually Y/G was not solid. It is good to progress from album to album but there must be a core base of the original sound. Y/G didn't sound anything like Baroness and they strayed way too much. Progressing keeps a band alive but throwing out your core sound will destroy your fan base.
