People have been asking for more demos of my signature BKP Juggernaut set since they were announced and put up for sale.

Info is here: https://bareknucklepickups.co.uk/main/pickups.php?cat=humbuckers&sub=contemporary&pickup=juggernaut

Pickup can be bought here: https://www.bareknucklepickups.co.uk/shop/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=65_128

I remembered that I actually not only had a song that I recorded using my Jugg equipped Jackson Custom Shop 7 string, but that it was also a very good showcase of the pickup. This song features a range of tones from cleans on several pickup positions (full and split) to mid gain lead tones (on the bridge pickup) to full on heavy rhythm sounds.

This is one of the songs that Tosin Abasi and I recorded for Guitar World.

My Jackson Custom Shop 7 was tuned to Drop Ab for this song and was setup with a D'addario 11-52 pack + 64 for the 7th string.

I used my Axefx II and my Protone Pedals Bulb Signature Pedal for the dirty and heavy sounds.

You can get this pickup uncovered or covered (with or without the etched logo) in 6 and 7 string models currently with the 8 string design on the way!

Hi. What's are the differences in between screw poles or hex bolts on the juggernaut ?Do they really make any difference in tone?

Does anyone else this song would fit incredibly well as a soundtrack for Interstellar?

How do these compare to the Dimarzio Crunchlab? Im thinking of getting one of them for the bridge position of a Basswood Rg.

You've said a few times you can get the set for $289 at a US retailer, are there any specific ones that you can point me in the direction of? And I take it you can't fully customize the finish unless you buy direct from the BKP website correct?

Hey Misha, i am that Russian guy from Vancouver gig if u remember hah. Anyways, i red comments below, and i just want to re-ask something, so u say these pickups are much more versatile than BK Aftermath's for example, can sound well on both aggressive and more sweeter musical stuff?

WOW O.O for drop C I'm using 12-58 ... but it 24,75" maybe I would go for 11-56" in 25,5" but 8-42 is very very light!

I know I'm not Misha but 11-56 work great for 25.5" scale so you can try those and If they feel too light go for 12-60 but definitely not thicker or thinner than that. Hope that helps.

it's up to your own personal tastes. for drop C I wouldn't really recommend anything lighter than 52-10.
