Spring Awakening is a musical sort of similar in content. Duncan Sheik is its composer, so it has a very rock/indie vibe such as this, I HIGHLY recommend it. It's amazing. Also check out Next to Normal, its a super small cast but the music is super similar, but a lot more guitar and rock added to it. Let me know what you think of both! (:
