The Barbra and Lea (dare I say controversy?) - is that once you are compared to or said to be like - is that you are merely a copy and not an original. Barbra is an original. No one has really ever said well Barbra sounds like so and so. While Lea is extremely talented and has a beautiful voice, if you try modeling yourself after someone or are known for doing covers of the original - you are still just a copy. Sorry.10 years ago

I'm 21 and have grown up absolutely loving Barbra - everything she sings is just pure magic! From solos, to duets, to Broadway/musical theatre. She is the only artist on my iPod with their own dedicated playlist! :) As for Glee, I really do love it (well I loved the first three seasons, this latest was a bit hit and miss) and the main reason I love Glee is because they cover so much Streisand from so many different points in her career.
