Number one, it's "intentional" simplicity, I don't know what "international simplicity" means. Secondly, I was defending black metal, not insulting it, so I don't know how you misinterpreted that. Black metal was simplistic right from its embryonic beginnings (Venom, Bathory, Celtic Frost, Sarcophago), and even today many of the bands utilize a straightforward aesthetic that is a common practice in heavy metal.
