**Some VERY Taboo Lyrics....

Drop down Mama let your boss man see

If you can howl just like a dog for me

Black leather is my favorite game

And you will learn how to scream my name

Look here girl, rest your gums

I'm gonna do like your daddy done

Now let me see you Baby, rockin' soft and slow

Hey! If you don't believe I'll follow you down girl

You've got to go

Don't ya squeeze me Baby, or you will earn your stripes

And you better not be a ball crusher

If you don't know how to pay the price

Now if you really want to taste a joy supreme

You should stay and meet the team

The vulture and his plastic straw

Make you want to dance and shout for more

Come on Baby let me show you 'round the room

And give you time to holler

Any time you can sling it around

We can surly raise a dollar

Not grunge, but grunge was more like early 70's hard rock than anything else. Pearl Jam has worked in 50+ rock covers into their live shows over the years. I would love to see them cover a few Steppenwolf songs -- Eddie Vedder singing John Kay would sound badass.

This is not grunge. It's plain classical rock.

One of the best groups of the 1960s. Thoroughly unfluoridated. This group's from Toronto, but the singer's an East Berliner who jumped the Wall.

One of the first albums I ever owned back in the early 70s, & it still sounds great !

Yes, would have been great if they continued to produce to this day.

Steppenwolf 7 is considered the Wolf's best recording and lineup of personel. Larry Byron on lead quitar was first featured on the "Monster" LP. In my opinion George Biondo on bass quitar was a hell of an upgrade over Nick St. Nicholas. S7 blew me right out the rear window of my bedroom. The stereo separation, reverberation and heavy bass sounds were Awesome! John kay and gang really showed their asses off on this recording. Thanks to the late great Jerry Edmonton for keeping it down tight.
