This song is about a girl Jon Simmons used to work with. He had a huge crush on her. But she had this really terrible boyfriend. One night they got into an argument, and he pushed her out of his car and ran her over. She sustained severe brain injuries that left her in a vegetative state in which she could barely speak. She passed away not too long ago.
