See all people in Afghanistan praying to the gods and living in the sand.

Somebody's gonna have to set them free, nobody hears the call or command.

But it's a long way to Harlem, and a long stretch to the king of Siam.

And if you don't have a penny, why should I give a damn?

Ad Hominem. You think you're better than I am?

Ad Hominem. You think you're better than I am.

See all the suckers in the handout line living on scraps and they don't have a dime.

Waiting for endless charity devoid of any sense of posterity.

Well there's no Great Depression and there's no Great Society.

And only few go to heaven, all the rest are damned and free.

Ad Hominem. You think you're better than I am?

Ad Hominem. You think you're better than I am.

I'm just a soft-cover version of a much harder tale.

A walking resemblance of ruts in the trail.

Is it possible to divide your ideas and beliefs. Ideas and beliefs.

Ideas and beliefs from the people that you don't like?

Ad Hominem. You think you're better than I am?

Ad Hominem. You think you're better than I am.

Well, if you knew anything about the development and history of punk you'd know that 1st generation emo was in fact spun off from punk. 2nd and 3rd are different. From wiki: "Emo emerged from the hardcore punk scene of early-1980s Washington, D.C., both as a reaction to the increased violence within the scene and as an extension of the personal politics espoused by Ian MacKaye of Minor Threat, who had turned the focus of the music from the community back towards the individual.[1][2]

"Ad Hominem" is a logical fallacy where instead of arguing against someone's point you just attack them personally. Its about the sense of superiority some hold in society that make them ignore those who are different from them. Not liking someone is not enough to ignore them.

Bad religion are among those who define punk rock, so no, go away. If you consider the bands consisting of screeching angry teens with weirdly dyed hair and piercings everywhere as punk, then you know NOTHING about punk music.

"punk is what you make it"....Yeah it's people like you who justify screamo and emo bands as punk style...

@thisisfun815 Not punk singing? Can YOU define punk? No. You can't. Punk is what you make it.

@TheDorks1000 ad hominem is one of the logical fallacies of relevance, its where you attack a person's character instead of making a valid argument.
