I don't think so. I saw the boys four times during the NKOTBSB tour (three times in 2011 and once in 2012 at the Mixtape Festival) plus I was at this GMA performance, and their special Old Navy performance in Bryant Park in NYC in September 2012. You can't compare what you hear and how Brian sounds to you at a concert in a large area with how he sounds on TV during a performance. The acoustics are different. At a concert you can't hear him as clearly as on TV.

Brian had swine flu back in late 2009 and ever since then, his voice has really deteriorated. It's a long term effect of him being sick. His voice never really recovered. And sadly, I think it has only gotten worse.
