Here is a good quality video of Canadian rock group Bachman-Turner Overdrive's 1984 hit 'For The Weekend'.
This song was the main single off their 1984 self-titled 'B.T.O.' album, which is also to date the last ever Bachman-Turner Overdrive album with all new original material. This is the only B.T.O. album, not to feature Robbie Bachman on drums.
This song is about something most people who work all the week long, can relate to. We're all waitin' for the weekend. \m/

I saw this video on all things HBO between movies one Saturady afternoon back in '85. I'm a long-time fan of BTO and Randy. The video needed more of the guys, but as stated, the young girls and guys are "easier" to sell to MTV, who didn't play this best to my knowledge. Anyway, great to see it after nearly 30 years! BTO a great band. Too early of a demise due in part by their label's demand to keep churning out albums. One thing I always liked, were just a bunch of ordinary looking Joes. No big hair, no make up, no over the top theatrics. Just cranked out that good music. Ought to reform and make some new music. As most of the shit coming out now is just that SHIT!11 years ago
