A lively piece by Bach; accompanied with photographs taken by me while hiking in the Lake District, England, one fine week in June, 2009.

Very good performance despite the very fast tempo and horn replacing singers. Bach's logical tunes can be done in many different styles. He himself redid many of them in different moods.

It's a nice version, but it really does miss the Hallelujah chorus.

sounds like a 33third LP on 45rpm;  compare this to a much slower rendition on you tube

Note: this does not contain the chorus which typically sings along.

Honestly...this is some of the most beautiful music ever composed.

Singers, who comprise the heart of this extraordinary piece, have been eliminated! For me, that sinks the ship right there. One horn is no substitute. But then the performance is so fast it slights important structural features. The pictures are spectacular, and welcome.

Remito "Wachet auf..."B.W.V.140 a Rilling,Harnoncourt,Richter... o a cualquiera.

@harpsichordRB actually, more baroque than romantic!
