just returned from Japan where i bought the latest DVD from Baby Metal in Tower Records in Shibuya. Popped it in my PS3 and was very happy with it. Will continue to purchase more Baby Metal DVD's each time i visit Japan. I'm hooked!

Su in Babymetal is usually more serious and professional compared to in her previous pop-oriented projects, but at 2:57 in this video, I get a quick flashback to Su-chan in Sakura Gakuin. Very cute! :-D

It's obvious Su has been learning English quite a lot. A while ago, I read a forum post by some Sakura Gakuin/Babymetal fans who were wondering why Su had been so invisible after leaving Sakura Gakuin (apart from doing the Babymetal stuff, of course). I now think the record company spent a lot of that time working with her behind the scenes to push her towards becoming an ideal frontwoman: giving her English lessons, further vocal training, and general showmanship skills. Yui and Moa might get some English lessons too, but as someone here already pointed out, they were pretty busy with Sakura Gakuin until the end of March this year, so they wouldn't have had too much time for that. Still, I'd happily see them improving too!
