Saw them open for van Halen on the for unlawful carnal knowledge tour a couple of times and they put on a great show. Wish they would have made it bigger

I'm shocked they didn't make it big internationally back in the '90s, but that was the era of grunge and the rise of rap. Even many established bands struggled to stay relevant in the '90s. I only found out about Baby Animals only because of the Nuno Bettencourt connection, but they should have been huge.

do you ever get the feeling suze that you should have got mike chapman do your 2nd album. one of the big plusses of your first album was the sound of the record....it is right up there with "siamese dreams" and "silk degrees".

Yes, in the '80s and '90s, attractive female singers didn't feel the need to dress like sluts and wear 6-inch heels. They just rocked. I like how the guys in the band looked very hard rock, but Suze was like a combination of Angelina Jolie, Chrissie Hynde, and Sharleen Spiteri, both in her appearance and attitude.

its actually not a new phenomenon there have always been dipshits who like talentless crap its just that since the music industry became heavily commercialised record companies (which basically means music producers) have realised economies of scale by being able to fire sale a dozen shit artists and make millions in a short space of time instead of having to invest in and cultivate quality musicianship and talent.

to the fans who have posted some decent comments here im going to answer all your questions in one simple response: the single biggest difference between the music of the early 90s even right up until the beginning of the 00s and the music of post 2000 comes down to a tiny but immensely significant factor called talent. these guys had it out the wazoo. all those other nonces that have been mentioned wouldnt know talent if it kicked them in the teeth.
