Joyful music CDs 2006 issued debut from the German born lady whose father was Nigerian and her mother a Gipsy. Joyful songs Her life has been spent in Germany, Africa, France, England and The U. S. , though she calls Germany her place of residence. Producer Jay Newland assembled a band that acceeded to Ayo's every wish, producing these songs with flourishes of pidgin and recollections of gipsy life.... both tributes to her parents. She draws musical inspriation from Donny Hathaway, Jimmy Cliff and 60's pop.

The album was completed live in the studio in an amazing 5 day span! The result is a collection of bittersweet songs dotted by her personal experiences as well as those by people she's encountered along the way.Entertainment Weekly (p.130) - "[A] set of reggae-infused, guitar-driven ballads....The German-born singer skillfully borrows sounds from around the globe."

PAIΝTING: Casey Baugh

Casey Baugh is a young representational artist with incredible skill in communicating the beauty of creation and life through his art. He is best known for his figurative paintings of attractive young women. Casey Baugh studied web design in Georgia before moving to Massachusetts to study with artist Richard Schmid. He won the 2005 Drawing Cover Competition and was a finalist in the 2008 American Artist Cover Competition. He was most recently a finalist in the 2008 Portrait Society of America's National Portrait Competition. Baugh has taught workshops in various venues—including the Scottsdale Artists' School, in Scottsdale, Arizona—he has produced two filmed programs on drawing, and he will be issuing instructional DVDs on painting in the near future. He is represented by Wendt Gallery, in Laguna Beach, California.
