It's a norwegian-swedish talk show, aired in both Norway (NRK) and Sweden (SVT) at the same time. Mostly based on swedish and norwegian guests. The host is norwegian, and "Skavlan" is based on the most popular talkshow in scandinavia from 1997 to 2007, "Først og sist" which was made by NRK and hosted by Skavlan himself in Norway, that show first aired in Sweden in 2005. Skavlan moved to sweden with his swedish girl in 08 or 09 and decided to produce his show under a new name, as "Skavlan".
