Gonna get so much shit for saying this but Matt is a more skilled singer than Phil. It's not just Phil nowadays... take a look at Moscow 91 for example, he might have been a better front man with a lot more energy, but he was constantly going out of breath, not hitting highs etc, while Matt just nails everything. Speaking PURELY IN A TECHNICAL SENSE, there's no denying Matt is more skilled.

This cover was very meh, lacked the groove that made the song great which you CAN'T miss with Pantera's music. Like others have said this song needs phil behind that mic as well with the southern groove.

I'm not a fan of Sevenfold, but this is a great fucking cover. Also, that solo gave me the chills - Synister did justice that solo, unlike Kerry King on the Metal Masters cover.

pantera is still in my opinion one of the hardest bands out there, regardless of all the shit thats happend, and avenged seven fold has in my heart earned a place right up there with them, they have stayed true to there sound, and in my opinion never sold out. so glad that they weathered one of the many storms and are still here jammin today. r.i.p rev, you were so funny the first time i met you guys, florida 2006, the rev,was eating like a roast beef sandwhich, dropped it in the dirt and dust,reached down ,kinda put it back together and ate it like it was nothing, love you dudes, love you Vinnie
