My best friend, a musician, died last year by his own hand. It was very tragic because he was never able to show his talent to the world. This song reminds me of him. Thank you.

This is easily one of the best songs Authority Zero have written. This gave me tears and goosebumps multiple times. The Chorus just feels so cheerful and sad at the same time. That Tony Sly was a friend clearly shows. This is one of the most beautiful songs about remebering a lost friend that I can think of. In all honesty, thank you Authority Zero.Zero 4 Life!

I don' know if its just me hearing things, but on the album version this song seems to start with "so today we're in Florida". Ironically enough, I was in a band from FL whose lead vocalist passed away exactly week before this album (from probably my favorite band) came out. We were still good friends and I was getting him into AZ as he was getting me into Say Anything. After he passed a few of his other friends wanted to get Max from SA to write a song in his honor since he will do that sort of thing, I showed them this song and they wondered why they bothered. I know it was unintentional, but thank you AZ for expressing what we couldn't and just making it that much more clear why you're my #1. I doubt I'll ever be able to rock this song without tears but it's worth it!Also, narcissistic note as a bassist, it made it so much better for me to see Jeremy rocking out along with you guys. No knock to the 'new guy' but JW was the guy who really made me want to explore what you can do with 4 strings(and our drummer loved the Descendents shirt!).
