Bloody hell I was in Year 9 and 14 when this came out. I lived and was born in Sydney (been living in Melbourne for 16 years this coming October) and I always remember the line about the Manly ferry and Circular Quay... even now when I hear it, it makes me think of Circular Quay.. can't believe it's 32 years. :(

Love Australian Crawl and love this song but this clip is very odd boarder line twisted.I was hoping that the car did not suddenly start up on its own and run over the band it was starting to look that way.Very strange clip.

I have heard this song numerous times in my life, but I never knew who was the singer and I never really focused on the lyrics. Today while driving to Brisbane, this song was playing again on the radio and I was suddenly overwhelmed by emotions. It is such a beautiful track and I am truly proud of Australia. I am not an Aussie myself, but I have lived here for over a year and a half. During that time, I have made Brisbane my home, wandered around the quiet Outback, travelled the east and the west as well as leaped from Circular Quay to Manly. My time here will be up soon, but I will never forget this place and this wonderful piece of music will be among the many things that created these indelible memories.
