You're sitting here blaming "the white kids" and the "dead beat assholes" for the scene being dead. So tell me, if it is dead, why are you still in it? Wouldn't you fall into that category? Wouldn't you be a dead beat? The scene isn't dead, it's changed. It isn't going to have the same shock factor as it did in the 70's because all of my generations parents grew up during that time. They're used to it. They encourage us to join it if we want to express ourselves.

Ok, I'm in high school with no car and no job. The town I live in doesn't have any place to work, the closest place to work is a 15 minute drive away. Not to mention it's the regulations created by Washington state that make it so that all shows are 21+. Only way I could throw a show of my own would be if I were to put it at a venue where there is no alcohol served. And no one would show up, I'd be out a shit ton of money. So yea, it's so damn easy to throw a fucking show.
