I drove 3 hours to ABRs show yesterday in Denver with my friend, and I always love that they play this song. It is so fun when most of the crowd starts dancing along to the samba.

It's something different to some of the crap on the radio. Metalcore is more based around screams. A lot of it is scream the verses, sing the chorus. But August Burns Red is a band that screams their entire songs (with the exception of Spirit Breaker). And I enjoy that, because it's not like the majority of metalcore. Think before you speak.

Yeah, there are a few that way. Some bands even sing some of their songs entirely, and scream in their others. Generally, the screaming the verses, and singing the chorus is the "meta" for metalcore. But yes, there are bands like Parkway Drive and For Today that are different. That's respectable, to have some that are different. I like it. But the most common way is what I'd said about screaming AND singing. :)
