Long-running German metallers ATROCITY with their cover version of
EURYTHMICS' "Here Comes The Rain Again"
The track comes off ATROCITY's album, "Werk 80 II",
When asked why the band chose to put "Here Comes The Rain Again" on the new album, vocalist Alex Krull said, "It was especially attractive to work with a presetting that it is a female voice as main vocals and I had to take this part. Because of the usage of guitars and the more invidious, male vocals, the song gets another note of course. In principle, we don't want to destroy the overall character of the songs which we perform on the 'Werk 80' album, but building on that, to more or less filling in our trademarks as the metal band ATROCITY."

Atrocity ( 2º parte) ...Su género músical varió a lo largo de los años, hasta llegar al descubrimiento de influencias sobre lo medieval y el terror en su álbum conceptual basado en el mito de Dracula, Atrocity's Blut, llamado así a partir de la película "Dracula", en la versión de Bram Stoker, lanzando en 1994. Su siguiente álbum, Calling The Rain, fue un álbum con voces femeninas y temas acústicos.El lanzamiento de 1996, Willenskraft, introdujo elementos industriales, y el CD bonus de la edición especial del álbum (Kraft und Wille) incluyó versiones electrónicas de los temas. Behind the times? Hm. What do you define as the current music style everyone should be listening to? I'm not a huge fan of Atrocity, but I happen to think this song is pretty cool. Besides, I do like German bands. I like German power metal quite a bit. I've got a tiny bit of German in me and I take offense to your comment.
