I think to really understand this song you need to have been the monster that Slug rhymes about. The monster who discovered that he has the ability to make these broken women fall in love with him.But the monster is not malicious. He's just as broken as the women he finds. He knows what these women want because it's the same thing he's looking for.The love that forms between the broken woman and the broken monster is toxic to them both, and eventually "kills" the broken woman.As the monster watches his love kill this woman, it makes him more toxic.This cycle continues until the monster can't keep track of how many women he's damaged. He eventually becomes so toxic that these broken women won't touch him.And then he hits rock bottom and begins to work his way back up to being a person again
