It's not about Indian or Pakistani singers. The thing is ! Atif Aslam knows how to hit a note. He knows how to play the guitar ; he is a good performer and entertainer etc ! The reason why most people say he cannot sing is because he sounds quite out of pitch at times. Every time I hear him doing a live performance I can clearly tell. So it's about a certain perfection of pitch. It's not that he cannot sing. Can he sing well enough that he always hits the right frequency.

I'm neither Indian nor Pakistani but lived in India long enough to appreciate Indian Bollywood songs and Pakistani Gazals & qawali. However, I didn't mean no disrespect to any country but I do have the right to my opinion. Sorry, Atif Aslam cannot sing period. Perhaps, he could have been a good actor because of his good looks and as a matter of fact, I think he's popular in Music industries because of his looks and not because of his voice. Having said that but I think he would have been a very good actor because he looks much better than many popular Bollywood heroes *
