I bought my guitar about half a year ago and i got stuck with it. I was playing at least 6 hours a day. Now i can play the guitar a lot the heck better than my best friend, who has a teacher for 7 years

P.S.- WOUND UP AT YALE NEW HAVEN HOSPITAL AFTER FALLING ON SOME ROCKS WHILE FISHING AFTER THE CONCERT SINCE THERE WAS NO PLACE FOR MY TENT. ALSO, I WENT TO TJHE CONSPIRATYORS BUS AND THEY WERE ALREADY DOWN SO AM SORT OF GLAD SINCE IT WOULD BE BETTER NOT TO HAVE ANY SIGNATURE ON THE GUITAR SINCE IT IS FABULOUS WINE RED, BUT THOUGHT ON THE CREAM COLOR PICK GUARD MAY WORK IF I C U NEXT TIME. GUESS I NEED TO SWITCH PICKS TO TORTEX NOW SINCE I WAS USING THE CONFETTI ONE U USED LAST TIME AND GAVE OUT NO PICKS. ITS JUST INCREDIBLE THOUGH THAT IN THE 11TH ROW U HIT ME DEAD center chest with the pick and its a prized posession now. IT DROPPED RIGHT AT MY FEET AND THE PERSON NEXT TO ME WAS ASTOUNDED TOO. still REGRET THAT I HAD THE CHANCE TO ACTUALLY C U AT THE GATE B 4 LEAVING SINCE I JUST GOT SO FLUSTERED AND ALMOST AFTER GETTING THE PICK WAS NOT ABLE TO CONNECT WITH THE MOMENT nd say hello instead of running around like a chicken without a head and the valet for my guitar i am very happy with thanx to u. will KEEP FIGHTIMNG FOR THE ELEPHANT HABITAT AND HAVE A TURTLE STORY I HOPE TO SHARE THAT WILL HAVE U IN STITCHES. IT WAS TERRIFIC SEEING 1/2 THE CONCERT AND STARTED 2 DAYS EARLY TO GET THERE ON TIME AND STILL MISSED HALF BUT HAD A FABULOUS TIME AND NOW YOUR PICK. REGARDS TO YOUR WONDERFUL FAMILY TOO! STEVE

Gotta say, I don't think I appreciated your guitar playing as much during the Axl days. These days at 50, I really like what you are doing. So melodic with a chainsaw edge. Not saying you were bad back then, just couldn'tt appreciate it as much.Older and maybe wiser.........

It's true about patience. I have been playing for 7 years and am only just starting to pick up things by ear. I found it frustrating most of the time because you doubt whether you can play something by ear but now I am picking things up quite rapidly and I am enjoying it rather than getting frustrated. Slash is the reason I bought my first guitar.
