Artie Shaw could transform even the most mundane song. "Lambeth Walk" was a British song from a 1937 West End musical (revived recently), often used as a sing-along piece in UK. Artie Shaw makes it swing!12 years ago

what you mean Tommy Dorsey special guest? Shaw's discography never shows the two playing together in 1938-1939,when this recording was made. Trombone solo is by Les Jenkins.Related Videos
