The original was by Dave Townsend, but the record company shelved it and Bruce Welch acquired it, so Cliff ended up recording it, and arguably it's Cliff's finest song. It was Dave Townsend's first though.

Well, check the original.....from Cliff Richard. I really can't appreciate this one very much. Cliff Richard had a great success with it - but this one is a looser from my point of view.
