This live "mono mix" version of "Coming Into Los Angeles" by Arlo Guthrie at Woodstock 1969 Concert was taken from the stereo Cotillion LP. Song follows "STAGE ANNOUNCEMENTS". I was not happy with the overall stereo mix balances(especially through headphones!!), so I made a mono mix from the LP track and it turned out better than I originally expected(not perfect either as the original live recordings were made under very adverse conditions), but more balanced in center staging perspective on the mono mix here.

Recorded with stereo gear on background photo.

I love this, but I do wish you would do a mono mix of his actual performance. I grew up in Monticello Ny and was there. When Arlo played this song I was blown away and then the album came out and I was bummed because it wasn't as I remembered and then the movie came out and it was the version I remembered. What is difficult to grasp is just how miserable we all were, This was Friday night. I was shoeless, wet, muddy and hungry. There were so many people the stage was far far away but the sound system was excellent. The music kept everything together.

I hope you will add more of his concert performances.

Isn't this performance from a different venue and date? Due to licensing issues for the soundtrack? The version from the film is slower.

Dear Lloyd, many thanks for this memory of a young Arlo Guthrie; it was great to see and hear the later work he did together with the Great Pete Seeger! Be well, JSE.

That is too bad that you did not make it there, you could have taken photos of the event and had a great time, but at least we all can have some of the experience through the recordings and movie made at the concert. Thanks for listening...Friends, Lloyd.

One of the great regrets of my life, is that I was invited to go to Woodstock, but did not, because those who asked me had no tickets. DAMMIT
