Great version of the Pink Floyd classic! :)

I admit to had doubts the first time I listened to this version because the song by Pink Floyd has got a special kind of "magic" in it which nobody could keep imo - though this is a great cover with new ideas!

It's really hard to cover Pink Floyd and not just be a pale imitation of the original without just destroying it. I'd say this is a success. Good job.

Why does an artist of his calibre waste his time on cover versions? Anyone can do a cover but he is one of the few who is capable of producing decent original material.

This cover is more dark and modern than the original. I love it!!!

I love the original track, but this rendition is more dramatic, heavier, groovy, a little further away from the more ambient space feeling of the original, but this is still awesome. Job well done! \m/

It's good. But it doesn't beat the original.

Another cover of *Welcome to the Machine* - this time by Arjen Anthony Lucassen. The styling of this cover fits perfectly well with the rest of the *Lost in the New Real* album.

East and Queensryche are the best covers of Welcome to the Machine (:

There is a difference in covering a song and making a song based on another song. Anybody can play Pink Floyd but it takes a lot more to fully understand what their songs mean. This is by far the best rendition of any Floyd song I've ever had the great pleasure of hearing.

I listened to the original after hearing this cover, so I may be a bit biased, but I think, that if you listen to it in context with the whole concept album, it's harder style makes it fit perfectly in the list of songs he put together. In short: I think it's an awesome song and a slightly better cover ;)

The arrangment isn't special, but in terms of production it's a worthy cover. Not better than the original, but damn good.

Maybe because im a Ayreonaut through and through, but I love this cover... Its pretty true to the original but with his sense of style, production and grandiose...
