First heard this in a 'soul' bar in a little town called Vung Tau, while stationed in Vietnam. It was a request from a pretty Cambodian sister who was thinking about her G.I. boyfriend, who had returned to the states. Her somber demeanor, added to Aretha's vivid interpretation of this 'classic' left an indelible impression upon me. Years later, every time I hear it, I see her face and wonder... how her life turned out. MrEdolover aka ED-O
