I know you wrote your comment over a year ago but I'm just going to throw this out there. Life involves death, it is something we can never escape. Why should this awesome band not recognize and incorporate this fact into their videos? Do you fear death? I don't, however, it's not something I look forward to. OK, why do all the Architechture in Helsinki music video's have this cutesy aesthetic but have the dark undertones? In Heart it Races, they reenact the heart-removal scene from Apocolypto; in Do the Whirlwind, the band members get eaten by a robot shark, and in this video, two kids comit double suicide. And their cute dog is now left by himself in the middle of nowhere, with no one to care for him/her. WTF?

the place is a fountain youth, you're squealing (a better place when you end it all) offering advice that sounds appealing nervous fun (I know I would be very very nervous and anxious about the actual act of killing myself. but note the line sounds appealing) 'cept the cheating's in your blood and the hardest word is love not too sure about these two lines. Either the reason the narrator is killing himself has to do with losing a love or that he believes he'll never find love.

and the middle of the song if you look at the lyrics it seems to go into depth about what drove this person into killing himself. I would think getting his/her heart broken. And you change the beat disguised like a call to realize (this is the part of the song i would think where the narrator decides to end his life) you just made a pass in that reflection you're fixing your hair or asking questions you decide turn it around, right here he's thinking about killing himself
