The guitar audio was directly recorded into Logic Pro via the Axe Fx II (with a rough sound), over the original track, which was panned and EQ'd.

Thanks a lot man. I wasn't particularly pleased with the tone I had tweaked on the Axe FX at the time, as this setup (Adam A5Xs) is still pretty new to me. But it certainly did the trick!11 years ago
