arcade fire may not own there own music. if a record label owns it then you can be damn sure they will be hard asses about it. i only mention it because many people dont know how badly the music industry fucked artists for decades and they are only now getting their just desserts thanks to the internet.

I fear that the original upload may have been taken down. Which is a shame, because it is a brilliant project. I agree with you that the movie had a different tone and the song modifies it somewhat, but each is so achingly beautiful, and together I think they are a masterpiece of concept and editing. Kudos to the originator and thanks to Franz Floyd for bringing it back.

It's got to be whoever owns the rights on Once Upon a Time in the West - youtube just takes down content to protects its ass from copyright infringement charges. I can't see Arcade Fire being hardasses about licensing, especially since no one's making money off it and it's getting thousands of people listening to their song. And Arcade Fire is just too cool for that.
