Listen to this on a subway, watching people as they disregard the drunks homeless and the sick and elderly. Such compassion in this song n

What was this released on/where can I find it. Grooveshark has it listed on a nonexistent album, and I've found no mention of it anywhere else. (Same question goes for "Freeway")

@harryeffingpotter If you want to get drunk and cry listen to "Jed The Humanoid" by the band Grandaddy. Poor, poor Jed.

@harryeffingpotter Not so sure about that and I think Wyn Butler would agree. Have you tried Radiohead. They are my number 1 band and Arcade Fire is joint 2nd place with Grandaddy. Thom Yorke is The Emperor as far as I'm concerned and Wyn is just one of "The Kids". I'd try the Radiohead song "Punchdrunk Lovesick Singalong" it kind of fits with this song.

i love how this band shows they have compassion for the music they make. it seems like with some songs the lyrics describe things about them or about things in anyone's life. their music somehow soothes me with the way it sounds. that's why i love this band :)

i love the feeling of listening to a song for the first time, and simply feeling: fucking hell this is it. i am having that feeling right now.

@DomWrath Yes, still great, but sorta miss this type of sound that I think they finally threw off after Neon Bible.

@redcloud02 I think it lost a lot of the scratchy down-to-earth-ness that the demos and ep had, but gained a lot of maturity and self reflection on the way. both beautiful in their own way

The Suburbs lost a bit of the emotion that these demos, and other albums had I think. It sounded a bit too perfect sometimes...still epic though.
