A unique joint performance of hip hop legends Public Enemy and thrash metal giants Anthrax at Hip Hop Awards in New York City, October 2004.

Just a couple of days earlier Anthrax was opening for RJ Dio at Beacon Theater on Broadway, and Chuck D was very gracious to come out with the boys for the same very song.

Holy crap...Song was released in 1987...this year marks a 28 year anniversary for it. Admittedly, I wasn't ready for something like this back then (14 at the time). Now, some years down the road, "Crossroads" is/has been on CMT (Country Music Channel) and the like of Robert Plant and Alison Krauss are singing together, and artists from various genres singing together that I'd NEVER thought I'd see happen...I wish the appreciation was there from others (as well as myself) for a crossroads of musicians.

this reminds me of the good ole days where people where not stupid enuogh to call another persons music noise...they just got together and made music no matter what it was most of the best shit comes from the late 80'2 early-mid 90's rock rap metal all combined those were the good years....now its studio rap and pop same thing over and over very stale
