ben pearce - what I might do is a bullshit interpretation of this song... it's pretty annoying that some random fuck thinks he's being soulful and deep just by stealing vocals from black artists and putting a 4 on the floor beat to it... ben pearce thinks to himself "HEY LOOK GUYS I'M DEEP AND SOULFUL NOW!!!"... he butchered the vocals and they sound annoying on his "remix"... the original works much better

While the remix is good, certain songs loose it's power and soul when tampered with. I commend your ability to find a good balance of classic soul and neo-funk appeal. You knew when to drop the acoustics and let the percussion carry the vocals. Keep up the good work, but be selective on which songs you choose to remix...some songs are very tricky and must stay true to it's original melody.
